Primero doblegaron en tres sets a las guatemaltecas Natalia Gir\u00f3n y Estefanie Bethancourt (21-14, 19-21, 15-12) y luego cerraron el d\u00eda con un 2\u20130 ante las estadounidenses Amarie Bremel y Arika Johnson (21-17, 22-20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el Pool C, sus compatriotas Darby Dunn y Mikayla Law-Heese superaron 2\u20130 a Cruz y Torres (21-12, 30-27), antes de que Gonz\u00e1lez y Navas sellaran su debut triunfal frente a la misma pareja mexicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con estos resultados, la primera jornada dej\u00f3 como protagonistas a Puerto Rico, M\u00e9xico, Canad\u00e1 y Costa Rica, que iniciaron con paso firme en la fase de grupos.
