ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay, August 8, 2025.– From August 9 to 23, Asunción will host the II Junior Pan American Games, with Indoor and Beach Volleyball events taking place at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP) facilities, located in Luque, on the suburbs of the Paraguayan capital. This complex is considered the largest sports city in the Americas.
The Games offer an added incentive: the champion team in each discipline per gender will earn a direct berth to the 2027 Pan American Games.
The competition brings together the best teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation NORCECA and the South American Volleyball Confederation CSV. Both confederations held their own qualification systems for these Games.
Indoor Volleyball
The Indoor Volleyball competition will take place at the modern COP Arena, starting with the women’s tournament from August 10 to 15, followed by the men’s tournament from August 17 to 22.

NORCECA: Cuba, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico
CSV: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay

NORCECA: Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico
CSV: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay
Beach Volleyball
Beach Volleyball will be contested from August 18 to 22 at the Pynandi Stadium, featuring 16 teams per gender (8 from NORCECA and 8 from CSV), all vying for a place in the senior 2027 Pan American Games.

Dominican Republic, Canada, Costa Rica, United States, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua
Men’s Teams – NORCECA:
Cuba, Costa Rica, Canada, El Salvador, United States, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and St. Kitts and Nevis
Women’s Teams – CSV:
Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, and Peru
Men’s Teams – CSV:
Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Uruguay
