COSTA RICA, San José, November 29, 2024.- Ten teams from five countries will compete to become champions of the third edition of the 2024 AFECAVOL Central American U19 Beach Volleyball Championship.
The national teams from El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Costa Rica, all participating in the U19 category, successfully attended the preliminary meeting this Friday, November 29. During the session, they presented their uniforms and official documentation to the Control Committee, confirming their eligibility for the Central American beach volleyball event.
In the U19 category, five teams in both the male and female divisions will compete starting this Saturday, November 30, at the sand courts of La Sabana in Costa Rica’s capital, San José. Matches will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the pairs in each category accumulating the most points being crowned champions.
The tournament will follow a round-robin format, with the pairs in both genders that accumulate the most points being crowned champions on Sunday, December 1, when the competition concludes.
