NORCECA Confirms Beach Volleyball Teams Qualified for Asunción 2025

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, October 10, 2024 .- Following the conclusion of the qualification system for the second edition of the Junior Pan American Games to be held in 2025 in Asunción, Paraguay, NORCECA confirms the teams qualified for Beach Volleyball.

Thanks to efforts of the Pan American Volleyball Union (UPV) with the Pan Am Sports organization, it was confirmed that Beach Volleyball at Asunción 2025 will feature 16 teams per gender, equally distributed between the NORCECA and South American (CSV) Confederations; 8 teams per gender for each Confederation.

Dominican Republic, Canada, Costa Rica, United States, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua are qualified in women.

The qualified men’s teams are Cuba, Costa Rica, Canada, El Salvador, United States, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.

The 16 teams qualified for NORCECA accumulated the necessary points for their qualification in three events of the NORCECA U23 Beach Tour (Punta Cana 2023, Juan Dolio 2023, Punta Cana 2024).

Each of the qualified National Federations must confirm their participation in the 2nd Junior Pan American Games by October 25, 2024. If one of these Federations does not confirm its participation, the next team in the final U23 NORCECA qualification ranking will take their place according to current regulations.
