USA Head Coach John Hawks remarked: “I felt happy we got everybody in this match…  We were efficient in serving; attacking we were smooth – we misfired on a couple of plays, which was some miscommunication. Overall, it was a really nice way to start and I’m proud of the guys. I’m looking forward to seeing how we progress as we go forward. These guys have fun together and they are in it for each other, which is pretty nice.”

The six-team tournament continues through to August 10.
