Kaelen Ingram, top scorer of Belize: “It feels really good to get this victory. We came in with a mindset that we had to win today, but I think the execution was much better. We came in and wanted it to finish and be able to leave. We also have many new players, and they had the opportunity to be on the court, and that was something great to encourage them and for them to be successful”.
Thomas Garbutt, outside hitter of Belize: “I simply went in, did what I can do for the team, and then the performance was good. We achieved one more victory. I always do my job, train, but we have taller guys on the team. Now I finally proved to myself that I can. I’ve been in the United States for two years and didn’t train as much with the other guys, but I think I could contribute something today. The game was amazing”.
