Lodz, Poland, October 4, 2022.- Team Canada edged out team Thailand to put their record even with 3 wins and 3 losses at the Women’s Volleyball World Championship.
The Canadians needed 4 sets to defeat the Thai team with a score of 3-1 (25-19, 25-21, 23-25, 25-22). Canada was better in attacks (65-63) and in blocks (13-5) while in services both teams managed 4 each.
For Canada Alexa Gray had 25 points and Kiera Van Ryk contributed another 24. For Thailand Pimpichaya Kokram added 24 points and Ajcharaporn Kongyot added 16.
