Caribes, Plataneros and Cafeteros Assert Their Dominance in the LVSM

SAN SEBASTIÁN, Puerto Rico, November 23, 2025. – The Caribes de San Sebastián defeated the Changos de Naranjito 3-1 (25-21, 25-19, 28-30, 25-20) at the Luis Aymat Cardona Coliseum.

Five Caribes players reached double figures on offense: Mark Frazier with 19 points (14 attacks, 1 block, and 4 aces), Pelegrín Vargas Jr. with 17, Corey Chavers with 13, Pedro Nieves with 12, and Anthony Negrón with 11.

For Naranjito, Cole Gillis and Clarke Godbold each contributed 17 points.

With the three points earned, San Sebastián remains at the top of the standings with an 11-1 record and 30 total points. Naranjito, unable to add to its tally, stays in seventh place with a 2-10 record and 9 points.

At the Juan C. Berríos court, the Plataneros de Corozal topped the Gigantes de Adjuntas 3-0 (27-25, 25-20, 25-19).

Plataneros controlled all three sets, managing the pace in key moments to secure a convincing win. With the three points, Corozal improves to 9-3 and reaches 26 points, holding second place. Adjuntas remains in sixth place with a 3-9 record and 11 points.

At the Guillermo Angulo Coliseum, the Cafeteros de Yauco defeated the Gigantes de Carolina 3-1 (25-23, 25-16, 16-25, 25-20).

With the victory, Yauco improves to 9-3 and adds 24 points to move into third place. Carolina, unable to score on this occasion, stays in fifth place with a 4-8 record and 13 total points.
