Guilherme Schmitz, Colombia coach: “We confirmed our favoritism. As I said, we’re playing against a team that’s just starting a new cycle. Today we played very well, we had the opportunity to put all our players on the court, and I’m very happy with that. Now we’re focused on tomorrow’s game against the Dominican Republic.”
Deon Hutchinson, Trinidad Tobago coach: “The energy was absolutely high today. We made a lot of good plays and played good volleyball. I’m very happy because I don’t have a full team, just eight players without a libero, I have four players arriving today to train tomorrow, and by Wednesday I hope to have a better team.”
