Guilherme Schmitz, Colombia’s coach: “It was a very good match, we relaxed at times when we had a large lead, but Venezuela closed in on us and we had some difficulties, but the important thing is that we got the win. Now it’s time to rest and prepare the team for the next match.”

Adrian Fiorenza, Venezuela’s coach: “It was clear that Colombia is at a higher level, however, we fought hard, especially when we came back in the second set when we were very behind, and I think the team will improve. We still have a long way to go, but it’s proven that we’re making progress every day, so soon we’ll be ready to compete with opponents of that level.”
