Dominica Captures Gold Medal at ECVA U23 Men’s Championship

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, November 16, 2025. – Dominica has made history by capturing the gold medal at the ECVA U23 Men’s Championship, triumphing over the host team, Antigua, with a decisive 3-1 victory. The match took place at the YMCA in St. John’s, with set scores of 25-15, 20-25, 25-17, and 25-19.

From the outset, Dominica showcased their dominance on the court, holding a significant advantage in attacks (45-29) and blocks (9-6). Their impressive serving game was highlighted by a 10-4 lead in aces, while committing fewer errors than Antigua (31 to 37).

Three standout players for Dominica each delivered stellar performances. Kurt Jimmal Peltier led all scorers with 18 points, comprising 12 kills, 5 blocks, and 1 ace. Peter Sherron Vidal followed closely with 17 points, and Larian Tulloch contributed 12 points to the team’s overall success. Antigua’s top player, Immanuel Asaf Donovan, managed 9 points in the effort.
