Edmond All-Around Play Earns MLV Weekly Award

February 10, 2026.- After demonstrating her ability to excel in all areas of the game, Atlanta’s Leah Edmond has been selected as the Major League Volleyball Player of the Week presented by Franklin Sports. The outside hitter turned in a stellar performance as the Vibe won their second straight match with a 3-2 road victory at Orlando.

The native of Lexington, Ky. posted a strong attack efficiency to go along with a high kill percentage, powerful back row attacking and steady serving and passing. Statistically, she recorded her fourth 20-kill performance of the season when she finished with 24 kills at Addition Financial Area. Edmond totaled 27 points, the fifth time she has surpassed the 20-point plateau in 2026.
