Grenada Triumphs Over Anguilla in U23 Men’s Championship 

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua, November 15, 2025. – In an encounter at the U23 Men’s Championship, Grenada emerged victorious against Anguilla with a score of 3-1 (25-14, 20-25, 25-20, 25-20). The match took place at the YMCA in St. John’s.

Grenada’s performance was marked by a strong statistical showing, outpacing Anguilla in attacks (36-26), blocks (9-5), and service aces (17-12). However, both teams faced challenges with unforced errors, with Anguilla committing 36 errors to Grenada’s 33.

Zerick Wallcot led the scoring for Grenada, racking up 13 points with 1 kill, 8 blocks, and 4 aces, Javon Charles contributed significantly with 10 points, including 8 blocks and 2 aces while Roydell Livingston also made a notable impact, adding 10 points to the team’s tally.

On the opposing side, Anguilla was led by outside hitter Shaquoy Reid, who equaled Wallcot’s 13 points, while Trevon Smith supported the effort with 12 points.

Grenada’s head coach, Javin Noel, commented on the match: “This game was a no-consequence game, so we really had nothing to lose. We decided to give our bench a run. However, despite that, we still aimed to maintain our standard.”
