ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – November 14, 2025 – Grenada displayed exceptional skill and teamwork, securing a decisive victory against Saint Lucia in a match that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The Grenadian team triumphed with a 3-0 win, with set scores of 25-22, 30-28, and 25-18.
Despite early challenges, Grenada effectively controlled the Saint Lucian offense at crucial moments. The team led in attack points (46-27) and serves (12-2), committing fewer errors than their opponents (17-29).
Head Coach Javin Noel remarked, “What really worked for us this evening is that we came out to play fearless volleyball, showcasing the systematic approach we are accustomed to. Our aim was to ensure we executed our first pass effectively, and we are focused on winning all our matches.”
Saint Lucia’s captain, Daniel Myers-James, acknowledged the team’s struggles, stating, “Our passing was not up to our usual standard, and our setter faced challenges coordinating plays. Our defense also faltered, but we will regroup and come back stronger for the next game.”
Giovanni Francois led Saint Lucia with 13 points, while Daniel Myers-James contributed 8 points. Jamal Collins was the standout player for Grenada, scoring 16 points.
Looking ahead, Grenada is set to face Antigua and Anguilla tomorrow, while Saint Lucia will take on Dominica in upcoming matches.
