After the game, Guatemala’s coach Julio Domínguez said, “Our Federation has believed in this process, and we trust that these girls are growing; they will surely keep improving in every tournament. Now it’s time to enjoy this victory, an important bronze medal for Guatemala.”

Meanwhile, Honduras’ coach Marvin Ulloa commented, “We had to face this match with our substitute players; several of our starters fell since the last match. Fortunately, the girls responded, but it wasn’t enough. We must keep moving forward, there’s no other way. We always fought, and I know my players will remain in people’s hearts for the effort they give on the court.”
