MANAGUA, Nicaragua, December 14, 2025.- Honduras captured the title in undefeated fashion at the Second Central American U15 Girl’s Invitational Championship. Guatemala finished in second place, while Belize surprised by securing the third position of the tournament.
On their path to the championship, Honduras collected a total of five victories without a loss, clearly demonstrating the quality of their players.

HON 3-0 GUA
In a one-sided battle, Honduras defeated Guatemala 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-18) to claim the title of the Second Central American U15 Girl’s Invitational Championship.
Leading the Honduran attack, Elizabeth Castejón was the standout performer with 15 points, supported by Luna Janania with 12 and Lara Fernández with 11.
For Guatemala, Danica Reyes scored 12 points, while Velinda Valenzuela added 10.
Honduras built its victory through a consistent offensive performance, outscoring Guatemala in attack points 40-31, and was clearly superior in blocking points, 7-0.
Guatemala, meanwhile, led in service points 10-5, but committed more points through unforced errors, 26-25.
BIZ 3-0 NCA
Belize found its best form at the right moment, defeating Nicaragua 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-22) in the match for third place.
For Belize, Chloe Bowman played a key role in the victory, scoring 16 points, followed by Jamaya Douglas with 10.
For Nicaragua, Ixtchel Talavera was the only player to reach double figures, finishing with 10 points.
Belize was clearly superior in attack points, leading 39-25, and edged Nicaragua in blocking points, 1-0. In service points, both teams were even at 8-8, while in points conceded through unforced errors, Belize gave up 28 compared to 27 by Nicaragua.
