Mariana Fallas of Costa Rica Named MVP of the 15th AFECAVOL U19 Central American Championship

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador, November 15, 2025.- Costa Rica’s Mariana Fallas received the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the 15th AFECAVOL U19 Women’s Central American Championship, an event that concluded successfully after five intense days of competition from November 11 to 15 in El Salvador.

Alongside Mariana Fallas, her teammate María Vanegas was recognized as the Best Scorer and First Best Blocker.

Individual awards

From Guatemala, Harumi Monney stood out with the awards for Best Receiver, Best Digger, and Best Libero. Also from Guatemala, Andrea Garcés earned the distinction of Second Best Spiker, and Melisa Guerra received the award for Best Opposite.

Nicaragua’s Marcela Martínez was named First Best Spiker; Belize’s Sara Safa earned the award for Best Setter; and Honduras’ Valeria Castejón claimed the award for Second Best Blocker.

El Salvador’s Valeria Ayala received the recognition for Best Server.
