Lodz, Poland, October 7, 2022.- Poland improved to 2-1 with an electrifying win over Canada.
The Poles needed the maximum of 5 sets to overcome Canada with a score of 3-2 (25-18, 19-25, 16-25, 25-23, 15-5) leaving the Canadians with a 1-2 record in this second stage of the Women’s Volleyball World Championship.
Magdalena Stysiak stood out for Poland with 25 points followed by Kamila Witkowska and Agnieszka Korneluk with 15 and 12 respectively. For the Canadian team, Kiera Van Ryk scored 21 points and Alexa Gray 20.
Canada will now face the Dominican Republic on October 8.
