Fernando Morales, coach of Puerto Rico:  The positive that I see in today’s match after a defeat like yesterday’s gives us peace of mind and confidence for our goal, which is the World Cup, Mexico made us stronger in the first two sets until point 18 and in the end we in the third set we were able to get in on our serve early on and get them into trouble that was the key to this win.

Rafael Petry, coach of Mexico:  We knew that it was going to be a very complicated game since Puerto Rico is a team that comes with its sights set on the World Cup and its players come with their minds prepared for that. During the game in the transition battle, Puerto Rico was more effective and I think that made the difference in the result.
