Coach of the St Vincent and the Grenadines team – Eardley Martin said that it was good for the team to deliver a win, amidst the travails.
“ We ended it with a win in our preliminary round, and to do so 3-0 against Dominica gives us an outside chance still for a fight semi- final place”, Martin reasoned.
He said that they will await the outcome of the St Lucia versus St Maarten match, as it can go down to points and sets, depending on the margin among the teams.
Martin noted that should St Lucia beat St Maarten in straight sets, will set up the application of the permutations.

LeBlanc further disclosed that he insisted that the St Vincent and the Grenadines team was tired, hence called on his players to capitalize on this.
“I told them that the St Vincent and the Grenadines team was tired as they had little sleep and had had already played two matches, whilst we only played one, but the guys got excited, did not capitalize on this… They lost focus and lost the match”, LeBlanc recalled with disappointment.
