The excitement of the 2025 NORCECA Tour kicks off in Managua

MANAGUA, Nicaragua, November 27, 2025.– The tenth stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour is set to begin at the Paseo Xolotlán sports complex with the participation of 32 teams, 16 in each gender.

This will be the penultimate stop of the NORCECA Tour ahead of the Finals in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic, in December. Only the top-ranked teams qualify for the Finals, making it crucial to secure the highest possible positions.

The teams have been divided into four pools of four, playing round-robin matches before moving into an elimination phase leading up to the final.

Canada

In the women’s field, Pool A includes the home pairs Lolette Rodríguez/Socorro López and Sara López/Darlin Rodríguez; Venezuela’s Verneecia Caines/Verneeci Caines of the U.S. Virgin Islands; and Hensley Philip/Shaylee Pinney of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Pool B features Puerto Rico’s María Rodríguez/Alanis Navas, who have won six NORCECA Tour stops this year, and Mexico’s Susana Torrez/Atenas Gutiérrez, frequent podium finishers. Also, Guatemala’s Paola Alvarado/Laura Quiñónez, and Costa Rica’s Jordania Quintero/Andrea Colmenares.

In Pool C: Katherine Reilly/Maya Gessner of the United States; Crismil Paniagua/Azmabeth Infante of the Dominican Republic; Shanjunee Gumbs/Shanella Harris of Saint Kitts and Nevis; and Canada’s Devin Corah/Tiadora Miric.

Pool D includes Canada’s Darby Dunn/Alison McKay; Costa Rica’s Sofía Vega/Valeria Matarrita; Panama’s Krisleen González/Ingrid Wilson; and Nicaragua’s Yulimar Alvarado/Ella Resau.

USA

In the men’s field, Pool A features Nicaragua’s Rubén Mora/Dany López; Bermuda’s Benjamín Barnett/Brandon Souza; Guatemala’s Edgar Maldonado/José Izaguirre; and Jayden Sebastian/Tilokani Kush of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Pool B is led by the United States’ Lev Prima/John Schwengel, alongside Costa Rica’s Julián Araya/Cristhian Oporta; El Salvador’s twins Yoel and Christopher Guardado; and Nicaragua’s second team, Jefferson Cascante/Denis López.

In Pool C are Mexico’s Miguel Sarabia/Iñes Vargas Lares; Alexander Wilmore/Yasser Jorge of the Dominican Republic; Elkreen Morton/Codville Rogers of Saint Kitts and Nevis; and Canada’s Robert Kemp/Cameron Chadwick.

Pool D includes Venezuela’s Juliangel Vargas/Esyender Delgado; Canada’s Luke De Greef/Martin Licht; Belize’s Francis Hauze/Edgar Martínez; and Panama’s Víctor Aráuz/Adamit Del Cid.

Matches begin at 9:00 p.m. with two women’s games, followed by two men’s games across three courts at the Paseo Xolotlán complex.
