COLIMA, Mexico, August 4, 2025.- The Governor of the State of Colima, Indira Vizcaíno Silva, guaranteed this Monday the resounding success of the XXII Women’s Pan American Volleyball Cup, which will be held in the city of Colima, Mexico, with the participation of 10 countries from the American continent.
A lawyer by profession, Governor Vizcaíno made the Multifunctional Auditorium of the Morelos Sports Unit available for the event through the Colima Sports Institute (INCODE), which also provided training for the personnel working at the event.
Vizcaíno Silva also coordinated with the Mexican Volleyball Federation to ensure that the personnel working on the court had the knowledge and level required for this type of event.
The tournament’s slogan is “FOR PEACE AND AGAINST ADDICTIONS,” which is why Vizcaíno, in coordination with the State Police, also guaranteed the safety of both the participating teams and the public who will attend this great event, which will culminate on August 10.
