Mexico, January 24, 2026.– Round 2 of Mexico’s Professional Volleyball League (LVP MX) delivered a highly intense Saturday, featuring matches decided by the slimmest of margins, high-level competitive battles, and excitement that lasted until the very last point at venues across the country.
In Puebla, the Guerreras de Puebla were involved in a thrilling five-set clash against the Leonas, a match that maintained tension throughout. After more than two hours of play, the visitors earned a key victory, prevailing 3-2 with set scores of 22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 26-28, and 10-15, showcasing poise and efficiency in decisive moments.
Meanwhile, in Durango, the Coronelas capitalized on their home-court advantage to edge the Tapatías de Guadalajara in another tightly contested matchup. The contest was decided in the final set, where Coronelas secured a 3-2 win with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 13-25, 24-26, and 15-9, in a match defined by defensive intensity and constant momentum swings.
The round concluded in Irapuato, where Gigantes earned an important road victory by defeating the Freseras de Irapuato 3-1. With set scores of 21-25, 25-22, 25-20, and 25-16, the visiting side collected valuable points away from home and confirmed its strong form early in the season.
