Lodz, Poland, October 5, 2022.- The Turkish team defeated the Canadian team in the second stage of the Women’s Volleyball World Championship.
The Turks dispatched the Canadian team in straight sets with a score of 3-0 (25-22, 26-24, 28-26) to achieve victory in phase 2 of the World Cup tournament.
Ebrar Karakurt was the top scorer for Turkey with 26 points followed by Eda Erdem who had 9 and Hande Baladin who added another 8. For Canada Kiera Van Ryk had 20 and Alexa Gray had 12.
