For the United States, Serena Gray was the best with 11 points, while for Mexico the most outstanding was Karen Rivera also with 11 points.

Brad Rostratter, coach of the United States: It was a great game for us, we played very clean and very smooth, I think our pressure in the service and in the reception were the key for the victory.

Nicola Negro, coach of Mexico: congratulations to the United States for the victory, we knew in advance that it was a technically difficult game for us, the United States has great qualities, we tried to defend a lot but we have important deficiencies in attack, we couldn’t counterattack either because The United States has a great defense, we have an important physical difference and today they made us pay for it all. Now what we have to do is concentrate on tomorrow’s match for bronze, which is very important for us.
