SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica, July 24, 2026. – Cala Haffner of the United States was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 2026 NORCECA Girls’ U19 Continental Championship, which concluded with the U.S. team capturing the title with an undefeated campaign.
In addition to the MVP award, the United States earned three more individual honors. Ireland Real was named First Best Spiker, Joselyn Samuels received the Best Server award, and Haffner also earned recognition as Best Receiver.
Mexico placed three players among the tournament’s individual award winners. Alejandra González was named Best Scorer, while Isabella Gallardo and Brenda Esquivel received the First Best Blocker and Second Best Blocker awards, respectively.
Puerto Rico also claimed two individual honors, with Iana González being recognized as Best Digger and Best Libero. The Dominican Republic earned two awards as well, with Rayni Mondesí named Best Opposite and Leandry Almonte recognized as Second Best Spiker.
For Canada, Olivia Orosz received the award for Best Setter.
