Maryn Boldon, Top scorer of Canada: “All our hard work kind of paid off, what we’ve done in practices, we executed what we’ve been working on as a team, we played with a lot of joy, and it helped us to play at our potential. Dominican Republic will push us tomorrow, it’s exciting and hopefully we’ll end on a high note”.

Carolyn O’Dwyer, Head Coach of Canada: “The match got a little close in the first two sets, Honduras was making pretty good digs that challenged us and we made a few errors on our side. Tomorrow against the Dominican Republic we are going to have to work very hard because they are a scrappy team”.

Génesis Oyuela, Top scorer of Honduras: “I believe we could have done more, not every day we get to face Canada. We improved by enjoying the match, this is a great experience for us and it prepares us for our next Central American championship in July in Belize. With these matches we can better understand our strengths and weaknesses”.
