Celebrating a Year of Remarkable Volleyball

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 18, 2025. – The North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) proudly celebrates a year of remarkable accomplishments, marked by sustained growth, extensive competition activity, and meaningful development initiatives across the continent.

The NORCECA 2025 Activities Report highlights a dynamic calendar that included regional, continental, intercontinental, and international competitions, as well as development programs and special events, all organized in accordance with FIVB regulations and made possible through the dedication of NORCECA staff and technical support personnel.

Throughout 2025, Volleyball and Beach Volleyball competitions across the NORCECA region recorded a notable increase in participation, development, and promotion, reinforcing a strong foundation for the future of the sport in the continent.

The four Zonal Volleyball Associations – AFECAVOL, ECVA, CAZOVA, and NCVA – experienced an especially active year, successfully delivering multiple regional tournaments that strengthened competitive structures and expanded opportunities for athletes, officials, and organizers.

At the continental level, indoor volleyball featured 15 tournaments, including the prestigious Pan American Cups, along with participation in two major multisport events: the Second Junior Pan American Games and the Thirteenth Central American Sports Games, bringing the total to 17 continental indoor events.

Beach Volleyball also enjoyed a highly productive year, highlighted by the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour with 11 stops, two Under-23 continental events, and NORCECA qualification tournaments for the U18 and U21 World Championships, as well as the NORCECA Senior Beach Volleyball World Championship Qualification tournament. Combined with the same two major multisport events, Beach Volleyball accounted for an impressive 18 continental events during the year.

These achievements reflect NORCECA’s continued commitment to excellence, development, and collaboration, ensuring sustainable growth and competitive opportunities throughout North, Central America and the Caribbean.
