From August 9thto the 23rd, 2025, the second edition of the Junior Pan American Games will be held in Paraguay. This event is one of the most important projects of Panam Sports and its aim is to detect and support the great stars that will shine in the near future.
Find out here all the numbers of this major sports event that will be qualifying for Lima 2027.
The Cali 2021 Pan American Games represented the starting point for great stars of international sport who excelled in Santiago 2023 and recently in the Paris Olympic Games.
Osmar Olvera of Mexico, Milaimys Marin of Cuba and Lucia Yepez and Glenda Morejon of Ecuador were just some of the athletes who made it all the way to success, winning medals in Cali 2021, Santiago 2023 and Paris 2024, in a clear demonstration of the importance of the Junior Games for our continent’s athletes.
This is due to the fact that the Junior Games will provide direct qualification for Lima 2027 to athletes who win a gold medal, this being one of the great prizes of this continental event. In Cali 2021, 202 athletes qualified for the most important sports event of the Americas, and for this new edition of the event, the number of qualifications will increase to 218.
