FIVB, Volleyball World and Mizuno celebrate successful partnership and future growth

February 18, 2026.- FIVB and Volleyball World leadership recently met with Akito Mizuno, President of renowned Japanese sporting goods brand Mizuno at Mizuno House during the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The meeting was an opportunity to review the ongoing success of their partnership and explore future opportunities to grow volleyball globally.

The partnership, first established in 2022 and extended in May 2025, is with Volleyball World, FIVB’s commercial arm, and covers both the Volleyball Nations League and the FIVB Volleyball World Championships. Under the agreement, Mizuno provides official uniforms for event personnel, referees and officials, while also promoting volleyball and its latest sport innovations.

Mizuno has consistently exceeded expectations, delivering campaigns that engage fans, support volleyball development and extend the sport’s reach beyond the court. At the meeting, all sides highlighted volleyball’s growing global presence and expressed appreciation for the partnership. FIVB President Fabio Azevedo shared his vision of expanding the sport’s reach from 800 million to 1.6 billion fans and participants worldwide and Volleyball World leadership reaffirmed the organisation’s role in driving the commercial and global growth of the sport, alongside its partners, including Mizuno.
