GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala, August 2, 2026. – Guatemala City will host the Second NORCECA U17 Boys’ Pan American Cup from August 4 to 9 at the Multi-Sport Dome, a venue that has once again been selected to stage a major international volleyball event.
The tournament will feature eight national teams divided into two pools. Pool A includes host Guatemala, Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Honduras, while Pool B is composed of Puerto Rico, United States, Mexico, and Canada.
This will mark the first appearance of the United States and Venezuela in the U17 Boys’ Pan American Cup. In the inaugural edition, held in 2024, Puerto Rico captured the title by defeating Mexico in the final, while Cuba claimed the bronze medal.
The preliminary round will be played from August 4 to 6. The top team in each pool will advance directly to the semifinals, while the second- and third-place finishers will compete in the quarterfinals for the remaining two semifinal berths.
In addition to competing for the title, the teams will also battle for valuable NORCECA Continental Ranking points.
