PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, June 24, 2023.- The North, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation NORCECA awarded a special recognition to FIVB President Dr. Ary Graça, for his valuable support to all the successful actions towards NORCECA during his presidency.
NORCECA President, Dominican Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz, handed out the recognition to Dr. Graça in appreciation for all the support to the National Federations members of NORCECA during his presidency.
“There is no way to thank all the support you have given to the different initiatives presented by NORCECA to the FIVB and we’ve received their solidarity, even at hard moments, such as those during the COVID pandemic in 2020-2021”, said Marte Hoffiz.
FIVB President Dr. Ary da Silva Graça, was thankful for the recognition from NORCECA and motivated them to continue working hard, with planning and vision to keep the global volleyball family together.
“We are a family, and we are always seeking the best for every actor who intervenes for a solid and robust FIVB, where innovation can reach every corner of the world” said FIVB president.
The FIVB Board of Administration, presided by its President Dr. Ary Graça, concluded this past week a productive three-day meeting in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where they discussed several important topics.
During the meeting, all members were presented with a complete report of Volleyball around the world by its General Director, Finn Taylor.
He highlighted the remarkable success of the ongoing 2023 VNL, with a 50% improvement in attendance compared to last year, as well as substantial improvement in subscribers since the beginning of the event.
