SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, December 19, 2025. – The 2025 NORCECA Executive Committee and Board of Administration Meeting, held virtually on Friday, brought together continental leaders to review an exceptionally busy and successful year for volleyball across North, Central America and the Caribbean, while laying out an equally ambitious roadmap for 2026.
The meeting opened with the approval of minutes and Congress-related matters, followed by comprehensive reports from NORCECA and its Zonal Associations, all highlighting sustained growth, expanded competition calendars, and strengthened governance structures throughout the region.
A Year of Growth and Alignment
The NORCECA 2025 Activities Report showcased a packed calendar of competitions, development programs and institutional advances. Among key highlights, the NCVA (North and Central Volleyball Association) reported a milestone achievement on December 5, when it was officially recognized by the FIVB as a fully aligned association under international regulations.
Reports from the Zonal Associations reflected steady progress.
Financial Strength and Forward Planning
The Finance Commission presented a solid financial overview, with the 2024 Financial Report and 2024 NORCECA Financial Statements approved. In addition, the 2025–2026 Budget Project received unanimous approval, ensuring stability for future initiatives, including sport equipment programs and development activities.
Commission Proposals Shape the Future
A wide range of commission proposals were thoroughly discussed and unanimously approved by the Board of Administration, clearing the way for their implementation throughout 2026. These proposals were the result of in-depth analysis and strategic discussions conducted during each Commission’s meetings held earlier in the year, reflecting a coordinated and forward-looking approach. Their approval reinforces NORCECA’s commitment to strengthening governance, enhancing development programs, modernizing operations, and ensuring continued growth and excellence across all volleyball disciplines in the region.
The meeting also highlighted the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment Program as a crucial pillar of support throughout 2025, with continued benefits expected for NORCECA and its Zonal Associations in the years ahead. Additionally, a proposal was approved to hold the NORCECA 2026 Congress virtually in July.

In his closing remarks, NORCECA President Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz expressed heartfelt appreciation:
