ZINACANTEPEC, Mexico, September 19, 2026.- The NORCECA Women’s Final Six returns for its sixth edition, bringing together six teams from September 21-27 at the Unidad Deportiva Juan Fernández Albarrán in Zinacantepec, Estado de México.
Host Mexico will be joined by Canada, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the United States for seven days of competition.
The United States enters the tournament as the defending champion after winning the 2025 edition, while the Dominican Republic holds the most titles in the event’s history, with three gold medals in 2021, 2022 and 2024.
Last year, the United States claimed gold, Mexico earned silver and the Dominican Republic took bronze. The Dominican Republic has reached the podium in all five previous editions, while the United States has collected four medals and Mexico three.
The preliminary round will be played in a round-robin format from September 21-25, with each team facing the other five. At the conclusion of the 15 matches, the top four teams will advance to the semifinals on September 26, with the second-place team facing the third-place team and the first-place team taking on the fourth-place team.
The final classification matches will take place on September 27. The fifth- and sixth-place teams will meet at noon, followed by the bronze medal match at 2:00 p.m. and the gold medal match at 4:00 p.m.

The tournament gets underway on Monday, September 21, with Puerto Rico facing Cuba at 4:00 p.m., followed by the United States against Canada at 6:00 p.m. Host Mexico will close the opening day against the Dominican Republic at 8:00 p.m.
