Competition Format Designed to Maintain Intensity

The regular season will feature 45 matches, with each franchise playing 15 games. All six teams will compete in a single division, earning points toward the overall standings.

Each team will play three matches against every other team in the league. Adjuntas, Carolina and Lares will each play eight home matches and seven away matches.

Yauco, Corozal and Naranjito will each play eight away matches and seven home matches during the 2026-2027 season.

At the conclusion of the regular season, the team finishing in sixth place will be eliminated from championship contention.

The fourth- and fifth-place teams will compete in a best-of-three quarterfinal series. The winner will advance to Semifinal Series 1 to face the regular-season leader. Meanwhile, the top three teams will advance directly to the semifinals.

Both semifinal series will be played in a best-of-seven format.

The semifinal matchups will be as follows:

• Semifinal Series 1: Regular-season first-place team vs. winner of the fourth- vs. fifth-place quarterfinal series.

• Semifinal Series 2: Regular-season second-place team vs. regular-season third-place team.

The winners of both semifinal series will meet in the LVSM 2026 Championship Final, also played in a best-of-seven format, to determine the national champion.
