ROATÁN, Honduras, July 8, 2026. – For the first time in its history, the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour will make its way to the spectacular beaches of Roatán, Honduras, where the seventh stop of the 2026 circuit will be held from July 10 to 12.
The iconic Tabyana Beach in West Bay will host the event, welcoming teams from 13 countries in the men’s competition and 12 countries in the women’s competition, further establishing the island as a premier destination for elite beach volleyball in the region.
In the men’s standings, Mexico leads the season rankings with 1,180 points, fueled by an impressive streak of five consecutive gold medals in the last five Tour stops, in addition to a silver medal at the season opener. The United States sits in second place with 795 points after winning the first stop of the year, while Canada is close behind in third with 775 points.
The women’s race for the top spot is much tighter. The United States leads the standings with 1,100 points, having earned three gold medals (first, fifth, and sixth stops) and two silver medals. Canada follows closely with 1,080 points, thanks to one gold, four silver, and one bronze medal. Mexico ranks third with 840 points after claiming gold at the Tour’s third stop in San Juan del Sur.
The tournament is expected to feature the region’s top beach volleyball teams. The official entry list will be confirmed following the Preliminary Inquiry, scheduled for July 9.
