Veronica Jones-Perry, top scorer of United States: “So far, our team is doing a good job, building every day, coming together as a team and we are excited to see what we can do tomorrow against Dominican Republic; we will put up a fight and leave everything we can on the court. Today we were patient, we kept calm when things weren’t going our way and kept playing”.

Nicole Mata, top scorer of Costa Rica: “The match started nice for us against a strong opponent, they are a world volleyball power. We had good moments in defense, we did the best possible, we enjoyed it and benefited from the opportunity because we don’t always play against teams of this level of play. These tournaments push us out of our comfort zone, allowing us to gain experience”.
