PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 29, 2026. – The United States won its fourth consecutive NORCECA Men’s Final Six title after defeating Canada 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-21) in Saturday’s final at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium.
The United States completed the tournament undefeated with a 7-0 record. The victory raised its Final Six medal count to four gold and two bronze medals.
Canada earned its fifth silver medal in tournament history after making its fifth appearance in the final.
The United States held the advantage in attacks (31-27), blocks (16-3), and aces (6-1). Canada committed 22 errors, while the United States registered 23.
Jacob Pasteur led the United States with 14 points, including 10 attacks, one block, and three aces. Sean Kelly added 12 points on seven attacks, four blocks, and one ace.
Arthur Szwarc led Canada with 12 points, including 11 attacks and one block.
The United States controlled the first two sets with strong serving and blocking, winning 25-15 and 25-18.
Canada responded in the third and built a 15-10 lead, but the United States tied the score at 19 with an ace by Pasteur. The Americans then used a five-point run, fueled by their blocking, to move ahead 24-19 before closing the set 25-21.

“It feels great. These guys improved every single day. That was our goal: to get better each day, keep learning, and gain experience, and they achieved it. Today they played a fantastic match.

“Today we simply didn’t have enough left to face what the United States brought. They’re a very good team, well coached, with great athletes. We have great athletes too, but today it just wasn’t enough.
“We have the Olympic qualification tournament in Moncton in September, along with the World Championship. It will be a very important month for us.”
