JUAN DOLIO, Dominican Republic, April 21, 2026. – Five coveted berths are up for grabs at the NORCECA U18 Qualification Tournament for the 2026 Beach Volleyball World Championship, set to take place in Juan Dolio, Dominican Republic, from April 23 to 27.
The top five teams in the final standings will secure qualification to the U18 Beach Volleyball World Championship, scheduled for July 8–12 in The Hague, Netherlands.
A total of 24 teams—12 per gender—will compete, representing Barbados, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, U.S. Virgin Islands, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
The competition format features three pools of four teams each, playing a single round-robin within their pool. The top two teams from each pool, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarterfinals. Final pool rankings will be determined exclusively by the results of matches within each pool.
Quarterfinal winners will move on to the semifinals, followed by the medal matches that will decide the podium positions.
Teams are scheduled to arrive in Juan Dolio on Thursday, April 23, with competition running from Friday through Sunday, promising an exciting showcase of emerging talent from across the NORCECA region.
