PONCE, Puerto Rico, August 19, 2026.- The NORCECA Men’s Final Six returns to Ponce, Puerto Rico, for its sixth edition, to be held from August 23-29 at the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium.
The competition will bring together host Puerto Rico, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico and the United States.
The United States enters the competition as the three-time defending champion after winning consecutive titles in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Last year in Ponce, the United States won the gold medal, Puerto Rico finished with silver and the Dominican Republic earned bronze. Mexico won the inaugural edition in 2021, while Cuba claimed the title in 2022.
The tournament returns to the Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium, which also hosted the 2025 edition.
The 2026 NORCECA Men’s Final Six is part of the qualification system for the 2027 Men’s Pan American Cup and will award FIVB World Ranking points.
The preliminary round will be played in a round-robin format from August 23-27. At the conclusion of the 15 matches, the top four teams will advance to the semifinals on August 28, with the second-place team facing the third-place team and the first-place team taking on the fourth-place team.
The final classification matches will be played on August 29. The fifth- and sixth-place teams will meet at 4:00 p.m.; the semifinal losers will play for the bronze medal at 6:00 p.m.; and the semifinal winners will face off for the gold medal at 8:00 p.m.
