Aixa Vigil, top scorer of Peru: “We were able to execute what we’ve been working for the past six months. We were overconfident in the third set. Today we limited our errors compared to yesterday’s match. We have an interesting group that will fight in the next round to win a medal”.

Francisco Hervas, coach of Peru: “I think that leading by two sets we relaxed a bit. It’s good because we learn that we must keep the game rhythm, our philosophy here is to learn. The girls got back their velocity and level of play”.
